Desktop Backgrounds

Hi there,
I made these backgrounds if anyone is interested. There are 2 sizes. The first is 800 x 600 pixels and the second is very large but fits for any widescreen desktop (you need to compress it).

To download the image, just click on the one you want and then right click, press Save As and Save it in a file on your computer.

The first is taken from the Awaara(1951) poster with Nargis and Raj Kapoor.

The second is from the Lajwanti (1958) poster starring a beautiful portrait of Nargis.

The third is from the poster of Madhumati (1958) with Dilip Kumar in the center, Vyjayantimala on the left, Pran in the left corner and Johnny Walker in the right corner.

Hope you like them! My favorite is the second one. Enjoy.

Litlgrey and Toonfactory - I will check my posters (they are all rolled up), and will post some more, I might have a Don one, but I am not shure.

Shweta Mehrotra Gahlawat - Thanks, I love that poster too.

I have tried to download the wallpapers but they keep on downloading in 300 x 300 size!

Mandy- did you try clicking on the image, then downloading the thumbnail image in it's original size? because that should work.

Hi, Stella. I am having the same problem as Mandy. When I hover over the thumbnail photo, it shows the hand icon with the pointing finger, like you should be able to click on the thumbnail to get the larger picture. But it doesn't actually do anything when I click on it. So then when I try to right-click on it, it only saves the thumbnail.
Hmmm. Obviously it has worked for other people, though.
